our beliefs
GOD
We believe that there is only one God, our creator, in three manifestations (The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 44:6, John 10:30, John 14:15-17, John 14:26, Deuteronomy 6:4)
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, and died on the cross for our sins. In three days he rose again and ascended to heaven, where he is now at the right hand of the Father. He is now the only way we can make it to God. (Matthew 1:18, Luke 24:51, 1 Corinthians 15:4, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Timothy 2:5, John 14:6)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is present on the Earth today. He is our helper. He provides the believer with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, guidance for doing what is right and boldness to be a witness for Christ. The Christian seeks to live under his control daily. (John 14:26, Romans 8:26, John 14: 15-17, Acts 1:8, 2 Corinthians 5:5)
THE BIBLE
We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error, and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine. (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105, James 1:22, Psalm 18:30)
SALVATION
We believe that salvation is first found by placing our faith in God and what Jesus did for us on the cross. We must repent and ask God for forgiveness for our sin. We shall then be baptized. After we accept Jesus as our lord and repent, eternal life begins! (Romans 10:9, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 4:12, John 3:16-17)
THE CHURCH
The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head. Our mission is to spread the love of Jesus Christ and share the gospel. (Mark 16:15, Psalms 96:3, 1 John 4:7-8, 1 Peter 4:8)
BAPTISM
Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. (Romans 6:3-4, Acts 2:38, Acts 10:47-48, Acts 19:5)
